It's Always Summer Somewhere

Born and raised in the Island of Jamaica, surrounded by water it wasn’t hard to fall in love with the tropical lifestyle. Summer trips to the beach was something I would always look forward to. Laying on the sands listening to music and looking out at the sea is my definition of a perfect day.

I fell in love with fashion watching the fresh prince of bel-air and was so fascinated with Hilary Banks outfits , which inspired me to start sketching and I realized I was a natural/good at it.

Then I started repurposing my old clothing into current fashion trends at the time, until I started

designing outfits for my friends for school events which got me super excited after seeing them constructed into final pieces.

I did alot of self study, online courses including "Fashion Industry Essentials" at "Parson The New School" and others along with some sewing classes to develop my skills over the years, which lead me to officially launching my clothing brand “Kerry Madisyn Designs” in 2019.

This mini collection “It’s Always Summer Somewhere” was inspired by my island girl roots. It was designed for the girl that’s lives a fun, free-spirited & relaxed lifestyle who loves to travel. Crafted with soft cotton fabric and a touch of denim accent makes it fitting for the summer and have you looking and feeling luxurious and comfortable.
